FAQs- More information

Most of our FAQs are in regards to our wedding photography.

If you have other questions or want to know more about our other types of photography, please email dana@theclassicimage.com or call +1 (518) 993-4199. We are happy share more about what we can do for you.

Your photographs are beautiful, are they all from real clients?

All of the work we show is from our actual client work. Real weddings with real couples.

We don’t do stylized shoots or use models for our website, samples or displays. (Stylized shoots are when wedding vendors get together, work with models  and set up mock weddings to show as samples of their work.) They are fun to look at and great for finding ideas for your pinterest page, but are not reflective of real time situations.

That is why we only show real weddings. Weddings are a timed, moving entity. We need to be able to work with the day’s situation and create beautiful images of your wedding with you and your family and friends. We do this at your venue with the details you’ve chosen from beginning to end within the time frame we’re given.  Always ask to see complete weddings from getting ready to the send off. All those moments will be important to you.

There are so many options, it’s really overwhelming. How do I make a decision?

Choosing a wedding photographer and your photography package can seem complicated.
We strive to make it easier for you. We have found most of our couples are looking for beautiful wedding photography, access to all their wedding images and pricing they can understand.

But what I really want to know is, what are your prices?

Our rate for complete wedding coverage and printable files is $4600.

This six hour, day of wedding coverage from bridal prep through the reception is our most popular package. This includes both Tim and Dana working together to photograph your event, our first edit of high-resolution printable files and a personal online gallery for viewing, purchasing and sharing your images.

For a more extensive listing of our current pricing please fill out our contact form.

Do you offer additional options?
Of course!

We offer additional hours of coverage, many different album sizes and styles, custom prints, portraits and parent albums, engagement sessions, lifestyle portraits, rehearsal coverage and/or any other extras that you desire. Please let us know what you would like in your personalized package and we would be happy to give you a quote and help you to design your own package.

I’m on a tighter budget, but I love your work, what can you do for me?

Ask us about our special rates for active military, off season and weekdays events or hourly coverage. These are all available on a limited basis, but they may fit your wedding plans so check it out.

Who will be photographing my wedding?

We are a two person studio, so it will either be Tim and/or Dana. We only book one wedding a day. This is our preferred way to photograph and we love to work together.  You might also ask why is this an important question at all. Isn’t it true of all photography companies? Sadly the answer is  no. Many companies keep a stable of photographers and like any “stable”, people will come and go as they learn and move on. In many companies, the lead photographer will take what they consider to be the most “important” wedding and farm out the secondary weddings to whoever is working for them at the time. Some photography companies make a call for a second photographer to see whoever is available just weeks or even days before an important event. So someone whose work you have never seen and whom you have never met or spoken with will show up to photograph your wedding.

But what if……. ? A very valid question. If by some chance a true life threatening emergency came up, we do have an extensive list of colleagues and friends from various professional organizations whose work we know and trust who would cover for us should we need them to. We’ve been honored to have been asked to cover for some of them in emergency situations over the years and worked as hard at their weddings as we do our own.
